SHOWCASE:

The SDSU Stage, Screen, and Television Actors' Conference offers a distinct opportunity to meet top industry professionals one-on-one to go over your work and offer specific advice.

2009 Audition Consultation Appointments (Optional for those who want to)
An audition consultation appointment is an opportunity for actors to meet, speak with, and receive direct on-the-spot feedback from an industry professional. These 14 minute individual appointments with faculty members (industry professionals) are made on a first-come, first-served basis. Actors are encouraged to review the faculty biographies and to select the person most suited to their needs and questions. These audition consultations are recommended for the more advanced actors. Actors who meet the criteria for or status will receive the most benefit. The actor is invited to organize their 14 minute appointment to best suit their needs. They may perform a song or a monologue or both, or simply ask questions. If you plan to sing, check the bio of the faculty member to determine what to bring. (CD or Sheet Music, Monologue)  It is suggested that actors perform for a total of no more than four minutes in order to leave ten minutes to receive faculty comments.

Each Conference Actor may schedule up to two auditions prior to the conference.  Remaining slots will be filled at the conference at a cost of $35 per appointment. Pre-conference Audition Appointments must be scheduled by April 20, 2009.

Age Limitations For Participation
All actors under 15 years of age must be accompanied at all times by an Adult such as a parent or a manager. All adults will need to register as a participant.
